The Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative (VCSI) is appealing to the community for assistance in locating 52-year-old Edox Gerard, who was last seen on August 11 at about 11:00.

The Roodepoort Record spoke to Gerard’s sister, Tina Cronje, who confirmed that her brother is missing.

Cronje said he was last seen at his residential complex in Helderkruin and that there has been no contact or communication from him since.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a camouflage jacket, black track pants and black tekkies.

* Hair colour: Brown
* Eye colour: Brown
* Weight: 80kg
