Constantia Kloof’s choir ends on a high note
Constantia Kloof Primary’s choir proudly took home national honours after competing at the Allegretto IPE Gala for the first time in recent history.
The Constantia Kloof Primary School (CKPS) Choir made their school proud after delivering a standout performance at the Allegretto IPE National Eisteddfod earlier this month.
Competing against the top school choirs from across the country, the young performers achieved an exceptional 90% Prestige Award, placing them among some of South Africa’s leading school ensembles.
According to CKPS deputy principal Janine Fleetwood, this is the first time the school’s choir has ever participated at such a prestigious level.
“We are incredibly proud of our singers. Their hard work, teamwork, and love for music have truly paid off. The result marks a memorable and celebratory finish to their choir year, after months of rehearsals, teamwork, and passion for music. Our school and supporters applaud the group’s success, expressing excitement for what lies ahead in 2026 as the choir continues to grow and develop,” she said.
