Truck carrying bricks overturns on Doreen Road
Motorists are urged to use alternative routes as traffic congestion builds.
A truck transporting bricks overturned on Doreen Road on Friday afternoon, December 26, after reportedly suffering brake failure, leading to significant traffic disruptions in the area.
According to the driver of the four-carriage truck, no injuries were reported. The vehicle was travelling downhill on Doreen Road when it overturned.
Three occupants were on board at the time of the crash, and all escaped unharmed.

The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department, together with local security companies, responded promptly to the scene.
Authorities are working to clear the roadway and ensure the safety of motorists.
At present, only one lane remains open while recovery operations continue. Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use alternative routes where possible until the road has been fully cleared.
