Junior leaders make Easter sweeter for all

Driven by the desire to help others, the learners took action to make the day a little bit brighter for those who need it.

This Easter, Pinnacle College Ridge View Primary’s Junior Mini Councillors (JMC) made a meaningful impact in the community by collecting 9 174 Easter eggs for charity.

The initiative highlighted the power of teamwork and generosity, with learners, families and staff contributing donations and their time to ensure its success.

“The JMC truly went above and beyond, demonstrating outstanding commitment and compassion,” she said.

The Easter eggs were distributed to members of the local community, bringing joy to many children, while parents and volunteers praised the initiative as a strong example of community spirit.

Boshoff thanked everyone involved in the project, noting that the effort was made possible through the collective support of the school community.

The Easter egg drive forms part of a broader initiative aimed at developing empathy, leadership and social responsibility among learners.

For those involved, the project was about more than simply handing out sweets – it was an opportunity to give back, spread joy and make a lasting difference.
