Fashion and finds at thrift market

From perfumes to preloved items, the market turned an ordinary day into a fun outing.

Friends and families of all ages took their time searching for what they might be able to buy at the Picnic and Thrift Market hosted at The Garden on Zeiss.

While some were drawn to unique items and small local businesses showcasing their goods, others came in search of low-cost fashion deals.

A variety of stalls offering items such as clothing, perfumes, jewellery, handmade items and other goods typically found at markets lined the garden’s open space. Visitors were entertained by the lively music playing through the speakers. They wandered around the stalls, looking for something to buy and engaged with sellers while enjoying the outdoor setting.

Vendors enjoyed a constant flow of customers coming to their stalls throughout the day and used the opportunity to build new customer relationships. Many items on display were budget-friendly, making the market accessible to a wide range of shoppers.

As the day drew to a close, the market showed how local markets create space for small businesses in the area to grow while giving community members a simple and fun way to shop and building new connections with fellow residents.
