Dhivya wins first place at talent competition

Her dedication and talent stole the judges' attention, opening new doors for her.

A young musician from Crawford International Ruimsig has struck the right chord after achieving top honours at the prestigious S15’s Got Talent showcase.

Grade Eight learner Dhivya Reddi-Beets impressed judges with her guitar performance during the opening round of the West Rand leg of the competition, which features invited performers from different age groups and disciplines.

The S15’s Got Talent is a talent competition that features top performers in dance, music, and other varieties of acts. The learners get an opportunity to put their talents on display in front of industry professionals and audiences.

According to the school’s client experience officer, Meghan Birch, Dhivya secured first place in both her age group and instrument category, earning praise for her musical skill and stage presence. Her performance also earned her a rare Golden Ticket, allowing her to advance automatically to the next round without having to go through the standard selection process.

“We are incredibly proud of Dhivya and this outstanding achievement. Her dedication, confidence and artistry on stage were truly remarkable, and receiving a Golden Ticket is an exceptional honour. She continues to embody the spirit of excellence we encourage in our learners,” said Meghan.
