Colourful fun in the sun at Die Ruiter

Laerskool Die Ruiter Primary celebrated the end of a successful school term on Friday, March 15 with a fun day that learners are not likely to forget anytime soon.

According to the school’s marketing officer, Suzette Louw, the school wanted to help learners celebrate the end of the first term, but also celebrate the achievements they accomplished thus far this year.

Laerskool Die Ruiter Primary’s colour run was the perfect time to get back at teacher.

“We have all worked hard thus far, and we wanted to show the learners how proud we are of them.”

The sound of laughing children filled the air as learners made the best of the jumping castles and other activities, like face painting, as well as the abundance of food and beverages on offer.

Teachers had as much fun as the kids during Laerskool die Ruiter Primary’s colour run.

The main event turned into a whole lot of fun, as learners were marched, in grade order, to a mapped-out course on the sports field, each armed with a bag or three of colour powder.

Teachers were not spared and more often than not, were covered head to toe in different colours, much to the delight of the children.
