Laerskool Die Ruiter’s U10 hockey team has been crowned champions of the D12 league after an exceptional final match performance.

The talented young athletes showcased their skills in a nail-biting match against The King’s School West Rand on September 11, securing a 2–0 win.

Coach Claudia Pretorius expressed her pride in her players, saying, “We had an absolutely great season. This year was the first time they were playing together as a team. We are very proud of them.”

The team’s hard work and dedication earned them a well-deserved trophy.

The winning team consists of Una Mbodi, Tatum Buys, Lungile Mlotshwa, Ndumiso Khumalo, Kelan Chitgo, Siphesihle Sibeko, Brooklyn Bardenhorst, and Candice Pule.
