Orphanages treated to Christmas party
Roodies treated three local orphanages to a Christmas party.
Everyday Kindness Foundation, under the leadership of founder and Roodepoort Hoërskool learner Sanay Ramsamy, has gone from strength to strength, this year putting on its fourth annual Christmas party for local orphanages.
For Sanay, this will be his final Christmas party as a Roodie, but that does not mean that Everyday Kindness will not continue its quest to do good within communities and at the school.
“I have ensured that my foundation carries on its work within the school and beyond,” he says.

“We have a dedicated group of learners and teachers who will be carrying our projects forward at the school, while I will continue to grow and expand the work of the foundation in the next phase of my life.”
Sanay is planning to study human resources management at the University of Johannesburg next year.
This year’s Christmas party saw three local orphanages blessed by the foundation.

“We managed to raise enough funds for presents for all the kids, as well as a delicious meal, heaps of treats, and lots of fun activities.
“It is such a privilege for us to be able to do this for the kids. We are more determined than ever, and we plan to do even more for our communities in the future.”
