Trinityhouse’s matriculants toast to 2025 results

The day was memorable as the learners bid farewell to their high school years, stepping into their future.

Excitement filled the air at Trinityhouse Little Falls on Monday, January 12, as the school’s matriculants received their results. Teachers, parents, and friends gathered to celebrate the moment, toasting to the achievements with non-alcoholic champagne.

The Roodepoort Northsider spoke to some of the matriculants about their results and what this milestone means for them.

“I’m satisfied with my results, and I’m very happy today,” shared Neo Greaver. His mother, Precious, couldn’t hide her excitement, expressing that she is proud of her son because the year was not easy on him, but she is grateful to God that he was able to overcome those challenges and obtain outstanding results.

For Mikha’eel Patel, it was the most taxing year in terms of time and effort.

“I feel like this is the year where all the pieces came together, and I think it allowed us to push for that last final stride of high school,” he said, adding that he believes everyone gave it their all and they’re proud of their results.

“My matric year had a lot of ups and downs. I made a great number of friends along the way, and I happened to lose some friends as well, but I worked really hard, and I’m happy with my results. In my opinion, I deserve them because I really tried to put so much effort in, so I’m very happy,” said Lisa Greville.

For Lelethu Nombaca, her results brought relief for her, even though she expected better than what she achieved. The celebration continues as these learners prepare for the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
