Curro Wilgeheuwel’s Grade One head Adi Crum said their first day went smoothly, and it was exciting to see parents bringing their young ones to school and getting to be here on the first day at school.

“Remember, this is the most important step for a child’s education foundation. It made me happy to see many parents showing up with their children on the first day.”

She told the Roodepoort Nothsider that one of her primary objectives is to make learners comfortable in classrooms so that teachers can be able to fully engage with them at an early age.
