Roodepoort SAPS suffered an goal within the first five minutes of the match through a defensive error that resulted in SWGC’s striker finding the back of the net.

SWGC could not protect their lead and in no time the hosts equalised through some sloppy play by the visitors in their own half.

At the half-hour mark, SWGC fell behind 3–1 before starting to climb back into it, but could never find level footing against a very offensive and organised Roodepoort SAPS side.

The visitors pulled one back in the beginning of the second half but Roodepoort SAPS’ attacking wings continued to discard their opponents and fed many devastating passes to their strikers who made it all count.

Roodepoort SAPS right winger who was a menace on the line picked out a striker that was unattended, and he picked and hit his spot to make the final score 5–3 in favour of the hosts.

Roodepoort SAPS continues to sit on top of the log league standing with 39 points followed by Magaliesburg SAPS who are on 36 points, while SWGC sits uncomfortably at the bottom of the log with only 10 points.

The next fixtures will see the Department of Agriculture, who have collected 14 points, attempt to close the gap between them and Unisa who currently sits at 18 points.

Roodepoort SAPS has what looks like an easy fixture against the bottom-placed Masters side who has only managed to win one game this season.
