Welties Primary hosts Sports Fête for the books

The Sports Fête hosted by Weltevreden Park Primary School welcomed an array of different sporting events from soccer to netball, as well as secondhand book sales, craft markets, and mouth-watering food stalls.

The day was filled with friendly competition and created the perfect opportunity for parents and community members to network. The Honeydew Community Police Forum as well as local police officers were in attendance and welcomed the community to chat with them about the roles they play.

The overall winners of the day went to Weltevreden Park Primary School.

“Well done to Welties for winning overall in the netball and soccer games and for being the overall winners for the whole day,” Leanne, Welties Deputy Principal, concluded.
