Pathways Roodepoort hosts another successful charity golf day

The annual golf day saw collaborative efforts between Pathways and various other entities to raise funds for the NPO.

Pathways Roodepoort hosted its annual charity fundraising golf day at Ruimsig Golf Club in October in a bid to raise funds for the centre.

The main objective of the event was to accumulate much-needed funds as it relies solely on funding and donations to operate which keeps the organisation thriving as no government funding is received, so creativity is at play to acquire funding to stay afloat.

The golf day saw 128 players participate with watering holes providing golfers and sponsors ample opportunities to network and market their businesses and collaborative efforts between long-standing partners who each fulfilled a specific role. Sunette Pretorius, the principal of the school, said that they appreciated the participation and dedication of these very special friends of Pathways on another successful day of golf.

“We enjoyed seeing familiar faces and making new acquaintances at our annual charity golf day and we look forward to celebrating again next year. We are always grateful for fundraising golf days like these where we get support from the community,” she said.
