The charity threw a fun-filled birthday party at Bordeaux South’s Old Parktonian Sports Club; on the guest list were children whose dreams had been made a reality.

Laughter and screams of delight filled the air as children and their parents and caregivers were treated to funfair rides and fairground games, magic tricks, clowns, jugglers, music, food and drink.

Reach for a Dream CEO Julia Sotirianakos said, “The party was lovely. So many people came to celebrate with us. It was amazing.”

She thanked the foundation’s donors, sponsors and supporters for their help in keeping founder Owen Parnell’s dream alive for 25 years.

“Their support has been wonderful. We’ve kept going because of the people who believe in what we do,” she said.
