A salad that could make you croak
JOBURG – Woolworths for a long time was the healthiest and best place to get your fresh produce – directly from the farms, but a massive blunder in the packing department has caused a national stir.
Woolworths is the grocery store from which health conscious moms get the freshest food for their families, but is now also the grocery store that has Twitter buzzing for the wrong reasons.
Dirk Steenekamp put one of the largest retail stores in the country under the spotlight by uploading a photo of his Woolies salad with one extra ingredient – a frog.
Now trending on Twitter, Woolies is the butt of every joke.

Woolworths was contacted for comment about the frog in the salad and have not yet responded.
