Joshua Fayvel, a Senderwood resident in said, “I was coming home on the evening of 23 April when I noticed a Mercedes parked on the pavement opposite my property. I assumed there was nothing out of place because it was a fancy car.”
According to Fayvel three men jumped out of the car with weapons and approached him.

Fayvel added, “I am so lucky I took an advanced driving course. I was able to manoeuvre out of the way.”

Sergeant Sanyane of Norwood police said, “The community needs to be aware of their surroundings. If you see anyone near your gate, I advise that you to call police and go somewhere else that is secure. I urge the public not to be fooled by fancy cars.”
