According to the security company, a family was returning home from the shops and was unaware they were being followed home by three males, two of whom were carrying firearms.
Upon entering their driveway, the family was held up and robbed. The suspects then fled with valuables.
According to a CAP press release, after receiving footage, the security company managed to track down and identify two suspects allegedly involved in the robbery.
“We worked tirelessly at tracking the two suspects allegedly involved in the February incident and successfully managed to locate some of the group’s whereabouts,” it said.
In a joint operation between CAP and the South African Police Service, two suspects allegedly linked to the February robbery were arrested. Some possessions which may help in the investigation were seized.
