BRAMLEY - A number of men ransacked a house on Louis Botha Avenue in Bramley after tying up the occupant on the morning of 23 June.

Friends of the victim have offered a reward of R5 000 to anyone who can provide information to police that will lead to the arrest of the suspects.

The victim, who wishes to remain anonymous said, “I took the dogs out the front door at roughly 6.30am. While I was in the garden with them I was suddenly thrown to the ground and dragged into the house where I was tied up by a group of men.”

According to the victim, the suspects spent an hour going through her home looking for items to steal. She believed that there were four suspects involved in the robbery.

“The men put their hands down my throat in order to gag me and prevent me from making a noise,” added the victim.
