HILLBROW - It is believed that one of the hijackers who collected money illegally from some of the evictees and tenants shortly before the eviction took place was found to be hiding in a car in the parking bay beneath the building at Williston Court.

Following the eviction that took place this morning in Hillbrow.

It is believed that one of the hijackers who collected money illegally from some of the evictees and tenants shortly before the eviction took place was found to be hiding in a car in the parking bay beneath the building at Williston Court.

An organiser of the eviction who wished to remain anonymous said, “She was hiding there mainly for fear of being caught by one of the tenants. If they found her they would of probably assaulted her badly. She took money off them illegally as rent.”

According to the organiser, some of the other hijackers of the building could be seen on looking from the crowd.

“We will be seeing a number of the hijackers who take over buildings in court soon. We know who they are and how they operate. What they do is morally unacceptable and there are criminal implications to what they do as they put hundreds if not thousands of people at risk with their actions. They are careless and selfish,” added the organiser.
