Rapper AKA gets the boot
JOBURG - After the arrival of rapper AKA and DJ Zinhle's bouncing bundle of joy, the two have called it quits as the result of a rather sticky situation.
AKA and Zinhle announced themselves a couple not long before announcing that they were expecting. Now, just a month after the birth of their baby, it has been reported that AKA has been kicked out of the couple’s northern Joburg home due to the alleged relationship between the rapper and TV presenter Bonang Matheba.
An inside source told the Sunday Sun that the rapper was allegedly caught sending racy messages to a number of women, including Matheba.
News24 alleged that the rapper was kicked out after a lengthy argument about the relationship between himself and Matheba, who has been the headline of a number of articles lately due to her fling with D’banj before he unceremoniously kicked her to the curb on Instagram.
AKA released a ‘statement’ of sorts on Instagram about the breakup.
“We both wish nothing but a great future for each other and remain dear and trusted friends, as well as co-parents to our wonderful baby, Kairo, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We both care deeply for each other and remain close friends.”
The rapper and his supposed TV sweetheart are yet to comment on their possible romance.
