A day of doodles
PARKHURST – Spring is here and so are family fun-filled days at the Henry George Gallery in Parkhurst.
The gallery will be hosting a doodle-do and spring pop-up day on 5 September.
If you love to draw and spend the day soaking up some sunshine, the Henry George Gallery is the place to be. It doesn’t matter what your age is, as long as you’re keen to pick up a pencil or browse through the amazing artworks and handmade goodies.
Sasmita Stuff leggings, House of Cinnamon Shoes and My Mala Mala beads will all be on sale.
Doodlers will paint or draw an A5 doodle, and at the end of the day all the doodles will be donated to 1 000 Drawings.
All you have to bring is your colourful materials such as pencils, pens, kokis, coffee or tea … even lipstick will do the trick.
If you pop into the gallery you’ll also be able to check out the incredible After The Winter exhibition.
The doodle-do and spring day will be taking place on 5 September, 9am to 4pm at the Henry George Gallery, 45 6th Street, Parkhurst.
