Suspect found with dangerous weapons

LOMBARDY EAST- A man was arrested on 3 November after patrolling police found an unlicensed firearm, ammunition and three dangerous weapons in his possession in Lombardy East.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela of Bramley police said, “Sandringham police were patrolling the area and saw a suspicious man walking on the street.”

After being searched, the 59-year-old was arrested and taken to Sandringham Police Station.

Maphakela said, “The suspect appeared in Hillbrow Magistrates’ Court on 5 November.”
