The vehicle was stopped on the corner of Edward and Victoria roads.
Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela from Bramley Police Station said, “When they stopped the vehicle there were stolen goods found in the car.”
Police found a TV, amplifier, computer screen and cellphones. The suspects had also helped themselves to a few bottles of wine from the house they had robbed.
Warrant Officer Maphakela said, “When we asked the suspects where they had gotten these goods from, they confessed and said they had robbed a home not far from where they were stopped.”
The suspects are aged 17, 18, 19 and 30.
All four suspects have been detained in the Sandringham Police Station cells and will appear in court for a bail application. Warrant Officer Maphakela said, due to his age, the 17-year-old suspect has been kept in a separate cell for his safety.
