On 19 February at around 5am, Hillbrow Police officers together with crime intelligence spotted two men in a vehicle on the corner of Fife Avenue and Prospect Road.
Police searched the vehicle and found 147 bags of cocaine and heroin.
Sergeant Mduduzi Zondo from Hillbrow Police Station said, “Police also found R30 000 in their possession.”
Zondo added that the drug bust in Hillbrow is a crime intelligence driven operation.
“The suspects will appear in Hillbrow court soon on charges of dealing drugs,” concluded Zondo.
