The court case involving the disappearance of Johannesburg-based businessman, Nazeer Mohammed, has been postponed once again.
The sentencing of Robert Nembaka and Rotshidzwa Netshiavha, who were convicted in November last year on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and theft, has been postponed three times this year alone.
Mohammed, who has been missing for four years now, was last seen at his car dealership on Jules Street in Jeppestown on 7 December 2012.

The two suspects were due to be sentenced in Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court on 29 March on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and theft. The case was moved to 21 April to allow social workers enough time to complete their report.
Netshiavha and Nembaka have also asked for more time to obtain a lawyer as their state lawyer, who was representing them, withdrew from the case.

Mohammed’s family was once again left saddened by yet another postponement. Mohammed’s sister, Zaheera said they are disappointed by the court system in the country and that the family feels let down.
“The case has been going on for too long, it’s terrible. It’s taking so long to sentence them,” she said.
