Bramley police are looking for two men who intimidated an employee with a firearm.
The incident took place in Bramley Park when, according to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley Police Station, the complainant noticed an unknown man allegedly trying to force his way into one of the offices at his workplace.
“The complainant then asked the man how he gained entrance to the premises, to which the suspect replied that someone had opened the gate for him as he was a regular visitor,” he said.
The suspect then walked back to the gate, closely followed by the complainant, and when they both arrived at the gate, another man jumped out of a car, which was parked outside, and pointed a firearm at the victim.
Maphakela explained that the one man ordered his companion to get into the car before the two drove off. “Fortunately, nothing was taken from the business and no shots were fired and we are currently looking for the two men,” he said.
Maphakela confirmed that when caught the two will face charges of pointing a firearm. The case continues.
