The Hillbrow police are investigating a case involving a baby who was found abandoned recently in Hillbrow.
The recent shocking incident took place at around 7am while, according to Sergeant Mduduzi Zondo, spokesperson for the Hillbrow Police Station, the cleaner was cleaning in the building.
“According to the cleaner, as she was cleaning on the 14th floor, she found the dead newborn baby dumped in a dustbin,” Zondo said.
Zondo confirmed that no arrests had been made at this stage and that the police were still investigating the matter.
