The Bramley police are on the hunt for one or more suspects linked to a theft incident in Kew on 13 August.
The Lombardy East resident said he left his bakkie securely parked at the corner of 12th road and Louis Botha Avenue.
Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley Police Station said, “It was upon returning to his car that the motorist realised that a theft had occurred and that his spare wheel had been removed from the back of the bakkie.”
The matter was reported to the Bramley Police Station where a case of theft out of a motor vehicle was opened. Maphakela confirmed that no one had been arrested and that the matter was still under investigation.
