WATCH: Floods wreck local actress’ house
BRAMLEY – A resident said that during the heavy rains her house filled with water and she had to wear rain boots inside her home.
Like many other Bramley residents, former Muvhango and Generations actress Florence Masebe’s house was no exception to the floods which wreaked havoc on 9 November.
Several people were left homeless and without cars after the heavy rains in Johannesburg, especially those residing in the Bramley area.
Masebe said they watched their furniture float through the house. She added that she is thankful that she and her children are safe and took to twitter to thank her neighbours for the support.

In addition to the shock of finding her house flooded and her furniture floating around‚ Masebe said she tried hard not to fall apart‚ given that she had lost a lot in the flood.
“I have learned not to question this journey. I’m a little overwhelmed and breaking inside. God knows better than I ever will. This too shall pass,” she said.
