UPDATE: Missing 24-year-old woman has returned home unharmed

As reported on 1 June, Parkview police were looking for 24-year-old Sibongikosi Nkomo.

She had been missing since 26 May and was last seen at Checkers in Emmarentia. Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, spokesperson for Parkview Police Station, had confirmed that a missing person’s report was opened at the station on 31 May at around 10.30 am.

Parkview police have now confirmed that she returned home, unharmed, on 4 June by herself. Her mother reported her safe arrival to the police the next day. The missing persons report has now been closed.
