The King Edward VII School boys donated their school shoes after their last exam on 27 November.
The shoes donation is a school tradition which sees the matrics take off their shoes and donate them after their last exam.
The event forms part of the King Edward VII School Community Outreach (Kesco) programme which has been in operation since 2005 and helps various charities in the local community.

Spokesperson for the school, Lisa Slooten said this event, much like all their Kesco projects give the matrics an insight into the privileges they have and allows them to give back to those in need.
The shoes donated will go to various charities within the programme.
“The heart of our school is to make sure that the local community is looked after. This event also sends a message to our incoming matrics to embrace any way of assisting the local community.”
