Media personality, Somizi will take the hot seat during the recording of the show on 26 April at the Lyric Theatre as the country’s top celebrities roast him.

Speaking on Fresh Breakfast, a breakfast radio show he co-hosts with DJ Fresh, on Monday, Somizi said he was nervous when the offer was first made to him.

“I did not know whether or not I was comfortable with being in the hot seat, but accepted the offer anyway,” Somizi said.
He said being last on the stand gave him an advantage because he would be able to hit back at his roasters. “I was comforted by the fact that I would be the last one on the stand, I cannot wait for the clap backs that I am going to give.”

Those who cannot make it to the live recording of the show can watch the full uncensored episode on 7 May on Comedy Central DSTV channel 122.
