Hot91.9 FM take young ones to the zoo for Mandela Day

PARKVIEW – The children from Hlalisekani Playground in Kya Sands had a lot of play time at Johannesburg Zoo.

With the help of Hot91.9 FM and Stringfellow investment specialists, Hlalisekani Playground children visited Johannesburg Zoo this Mandela Day.

The young ones were hosted at the Zoo’s Education Centre and were taught about different types of birds, reptiles and insects and were also given the opportunity to touch the animals.

They were later taken on a tour around the Zoo to learn about animals and showed excitement. Hot91.9 FM and Stringfellow later provided food and drinks, as well as goodie bags full of snacks, fruit and sweets.
