Orange Grove entrepreneur invites youth to an empowerment session
ORANGE GROVE – The invite is open to all primary schools in the Joburg north-east suburbs.
Young people interested in becoming future entrepreneurs are invited to an information sharing session to be held at the Orange Grove Recreational Park.
The event, organised by Small Graphics and Information and Technology Services, aims to empower the youth with various skills to become future entrepreneurs.

Small Graphics co-founder, Thando Dlamini, said the event will be held in September at a date to be announced soon. He has invited local primary schools to participate and said they need to take advantage of the opportunities available to them.
He cited graphic designing, computer technologies, forex trading as well as a hackathon as some of the opportunities they will be presented with on the day. “We have organised a number of activities throughout the day to equip youngsters on both soft and hardware computer programmes to use in future to start their own businesses,” said Dlamini.
“We will also have motivational speakers, who are also entrepreneurs in their own right, to share their wisdom and expose young people to opportunities so that they can use to equip themselves even further.”
The invitation is open to every primary school child from Orange Grove, Norwood, Yeoville, Lyndhurst, Alexandra and surrounding suburbs, he added.
Dlamini said this could be a great start for their careers.

Local businesses, small or big, are also invited for support, either with finances or donations. “We would like to get T-shirts and caps for the children and we will also appreciate any financial support as well.
“For those who can, we would also like them to donate food and other necessities for our participants.”
Those who wish to make a presentation about their services are also welcome to share the platform.
