Young talented models to showcase in Lombardy East

Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa modelling competition finalist is inviting young talented models to a talent show to be held in Lombardy East.

Precious Ratselane, currently among top 25 finalist in the contest, is inviting girls in the Johannesburg north-east suburbs including Thembisa and Alexandra to showcase their talent.

From her Lombardy East residence, Ratselane told the North Eastern Tribune that there will be auditions first and then the main talent show will follow.

Ratselane is looking for talent, drive, respect and someone who has a passion for what they are doing and want to take it seriously – someone who is able to work with other people.

“I want to do a talent show because there is a lot of untapped talent in our communities, and with this platform of me being the Tammy Taylor Mrs SA, I want to provide resources to create opportunities for these talented individuals,” said Ratselane.

“As part of my judging process to top 25, I did mention that should I win this competition, I want to focus on the girls and uplift them into people that are fearless and that have the ability to aim and reach for their dreams. I am now walking the talk as I feel that the right platform for me to do this is now.”

Ratselane currently own a casting agency and modelling academy called Glam Casting and Life Skills Academy.

She aims to grow this academy by continuously inspiring children and helping them venture into the arts while they are furthering their studies.

“I also offer coaching and mentorship for these young individuals. With this platform, I can now move Glam to greater heights and this will be a great legacy for our children.”

This is her first-ever talent show and she said there will be many other shows to come.

The auditions will be held between 11 and 25 August at the Lombardy East Methodist Church and the talent show will take place on 1 September.
