Ban Animal Trading protests outside Joburg Zoo against ‘incarcerated elephants’
SAXONWOLD – Animal rights activists protest against the Joburg Zoo's display on World Elephant Day.
Ban Animal Trading (BAT) is currently protesting outside the Joburg Zoo (17 August) in opposition to the alleged incarcerated three elephants.
This follows the outcry by parts of the community who say that the tricks performed by Mopane on World Elephant Day at the Zoo were a display of circus tricks and as such reportedly animal cruelty.
