Parkview Pre-Primary shows gratitude to Pikitup

Pikitup dustbin collectors in Parkview delighted by appreciation shown by Parkview Pre-Primary School.

The Parkview Pre-Primary School expressed their gratitude to Pikitup staff for keeping our environment clean. This gesture was shown by a presentation of drawings presented by learners to the staff on August 12.

The Pikitup truck leaves with staff member full of delight after receiving tokens of gratitude.

School executive Debbie Brown said, “At Parkview Pre-Primary, we aim to teach children about the world around us and the impact we have on our environment. This term we focused on recycling and how we can reduce our waste – particularly food waste.

“The children loved drawing beautiful pictures of the Pikitup trucks and helped to make banana muffins to give to our dustbin collectors as a thank you for helping us keep our environment clean. The Pikitup bin collectors were delighted to see the artwork and get a tasty treat from the very proud young artists.”

Parkview Pre-Primary school little ones present these drawings as a token of gratitude to Pikitup.
