Parkview Pre-Primary shows gratitude to Pikitup
Pikitup dustbin collectors in Parkview delighted by appreciation shown by Parkview Pre-Primary School.

The Parkview Pre-Primary School expressed their gratitude to Pikitup staff for keeping our environment clean. This gesture was shown by a presentation of drawings presented by learners to the staff on August 12.

School executive Debbie Brown said, “At Parkview Pre-Primary, we aim to teach children about the world around us and the impact we have on our environment. This term we focused on recycling and how we can reduce our waste – particularly food waste.

“The children loved drawing beautiful pictures of the Pikitup trucks and helped to make banana muffins to give to our dustbin collectors as a thank you for helping us keep our environment clean. The Pikitup bin collectors were delighted to see the artwork and get a tasty treat from the very proud young artists.”
