St Teresa’s School principal looks forward to 2024 highs

St Teresa's School, principal Elsa de Bod said, together the school aims to make 2024 a year of even greater achievements.

St. Teresa’s School principal, Elsa de Bod bids farewell to 2023 and looks forward to the promise of 2024.

“Our Grade 12 learners have shown exceptional resilience, currently tackling their final exams with determination. They’ve been outstanding leaders, shaping this year’s theme, “Method to the Mayhem,” symbolising their journey of learning and growth.”

St Teresa’s School came first in the prestigious Speech and Drama College Public Speaking Competition, outshining 94 participating schools. Further to this achievement, we secured second place in the South African National Geography Olympiad’s Independent school category.

Three Grade 9 learners ranked in the top 1% in the Olympiad.

De Bod added that the school was immensely proud of Leah Buntman, a Grade 12 learner, who achieved a remarkable 17th place overall in the SACEE English Olympiad, “It’s worth noting that this Olympiad attracts participants from schools across South Africa, making her achievement truly exceptional.”
