St Teresa’s Valentine’s Day activities contribute to CHOC’s mission

Little Rosies share the love for children with cancer.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, on February 9, St Teresa’s Senior Primary School in Rosebank and Junior Primary School in Craighall Park hosted a donation drive in honour of Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa (CHOC) an NPO aimed at providing support programmes for families affected by cancer.

Little Gianna Kourie and Isabella Kourie are excited to eat their treats.

Learners and staff of the schools contributed to the drive-through donations of toiletries and non-perishable food items.

Admissions and marketing manager of St Teresa Lianda May said, “Valentine’s Day is not just about celebrating romantic love; it’s also about spreading kindness and compassion to those in need. We are immensely proud of the school community for their enthusiastic participation and their commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.”
