Local aims to help nurture upcoming artists and music engineers

Bookastu.co.za is a groundbreaking startup aimed at transforming music production in SA.

A local, Jason Khambule aims to take the South African music production landscape to greater heights with his latest initiative, Bookastu.co.za.

Khambule described the platform, established last year, as a groundbreaking startup to transform the music production landscape by bridging the gap between music artists and recording studios. In turn, providing a robust platform for engineers to showcase their services and attract clients.

“In a vibrant country like ours, where music forms an integral part of our cultural heritage, a vast untapped potential exists within our local music scene. The significant challenge artists and producers face is finding suitable studios and professional engineers to bring their artistic visions to life.”

He added Bookastu.co.za addressed the continuous challenge head-on by offering a seamless connection between music creators and the technical talent necessary to produce high-quality recordings.

The platform simplifies the process of finding and booking music studios equipped to meet artists’ specific needs, whether they are recording a single, or an album, or seeking post-production services. Meanwhile, engineers gain a dedicated platform to offer their expertise, expand their clientele, and work on a diverse range of projects, thereby enhancing their portfolios and careers.

The founder noted that the platform not only fosters a thriving music production ecosystem but also aims to elevate the South African music industry to new heights by ensuring artists and engineers can easily collaborate, innovate, and produce exceptional music content.
