Pridwin Preparatory School hosts annual fun run to raise funds for Baragwanath

The 13th Knight Run brought the community together in a heartfelt race to support young burn survivors.

Pridwin Preparatory School hosted its 13th annual Knight Run on November 9 in a heartwarming display of compassion.
A day where every step taken by the Pridwin community felt like a stride toward hope and healing. This much-anticipated event continues to grow in spirit and impact, raising funds and collecting essential goods for the brave children at Baragwanath’s Paediatric Burns Unit.

The event saw learners, parents, and staff rally together to raise essential funds for the young patients at Baragwanath. Proceeds from the Knight Run will be directed towards providing vitamins crucial for recovery, along with small touches to make the children’s Christmas a little brighter. Donations of tea, coffee, milk, and other essentials poured in, reflecting the generosity of all who took part.

Event organiser Sam Eichstadt highlighted the spirit of the day, saying, “This run is more than just a school event, it’s our way of giving back. It’s about coming together as a community to bring hope and help to these young fighters.”
