Joint operation recovers kidnapping victim in Norwood

A joint operation between the anti-kidnapping unit, Norwood SAPS, and the Norwood Business Association has led to multiple arrests for a kidnapping in Kensington.

A joint operation between the anti-kidnapping unit, led by Major-General Feroz Khan, with the assistance of the Vision Tactical Norwood SAPS and the Norwood Business Association, recovered a kidnapping victim on March 9 in Norwood.

The operation led to the arrests of multiple suspects in Kensington, as well as the death of one.

Norwood Business Association’s chairperson Jason Grove noted: “It’s through the participation of government entities, private security, and private sectors, along with joint deployment of technology, that such results are achieved.”

Grove thanked Kahn for his swift actions and deployment.
