Water shutdown in Rosebank as repairs cause disruption

Johannesburg Water to shut off water to several Rosebank suburbs to carry out urgent pipe repairs from early morning May 20.

Johannesburg Water (JW) has announced an emergency water shutdown scheduled for May 20 to carry out essential repairs on a pipe burst at the corner of Bolton and Oxford roads. The disruption will commence at 07:00 and is expected to last until approximately 15:30.

Residents of several suburbs, including Westcliff, Parkwood, Forest Town, Birdhaven, Saxonwold, Dunkeld West, Hyde Park, Melrose, Illovo, Parktown North, Melrose North, Riviera, Killarney, Parkview, Oaklands, Greenside, Houghton Estate, and Abbotsford, are advised that their water supply will be temporarily interrupted during this period.
