Dorfman Karate shines at KWF national senior championships
Members of Dorfman Karate Club showcased exceptional skill at the KWF SA Senior Championships in a highly competitive event.
Dorfman Karate’s Parktown North and Melrose dojos delivered a commanding performance at the KWF SA Senior Championships on November 8, proving once again that passion and perseverance remain at the heart of their success.
In a field brimming with seasoned competitors, the club’s karateka rose to the occasion with remarkable composure and discipline.

Across 11 fiercely contested sections, Dorfman athletes claimed an impressive eight victories, a testament to the club’s depth of talent and unwavering commitment to excellence.
By the end of the tournament, the team had secured a glittering medal haul of eight gold, five silver, and 10 bronze, drawing admiration from spectators and fellow competitors alike.

For Sensei Shane Dorfman, the achievement was about far more than podium finishes. The team’s performance was outstanding,” he said proudly.
