In true celebratory spirit, the 2024 Casual Day campaign was launched under the theme: I see you, a powerful reminder to acknowledge and uplift those often unseen. Since its inception in 1994, Casual Day has raised over R455m, funding advocacy, resources, and life-changing initiatives. On September 6 South Africans united again, proudly wearing stickers, t-shirts, and caps to show their support.

Adding to the festivities, the NCPD unveiled Vava iYouth, a pioneering youth wing that empowers young South Africans with disabilities through skills development, job preparation, and access to resources. Partnering with Disney, the Heroes Unite campaign is raising funds for assistive devices through wristband sales, proving that small actions can create a big impact.
