Cup matches:

The North South League has cup matches planned this year. This competition runs simultaneously with league matches on specific weekends during the season.

In this competition, teams are divided into groups, and the top teams from each group progress to the knockout stages.

Generally the cup fixtures are decided by a draw for the first few rounds. Teams that don’t finish in the top in the first round then play in a plate knockout.

Different rules apply to the matches; for example, there has to be a winner, so matches may go to extra time and penalties.
Leagues:

Each age group is divided into categories of strength, and these categories are called divisions. Fixtures are played on weekends.

The tables reflected on the league’s website reflect the standings of each team as the season progresses. A win gives a team three points, and a draw one.

The league is the most prestigious competition to win as it reflects a team’s strength throughout an entire season.
