St Teresa’s School’s 2026 house captain is eager to lead with positivity

Nasha Mabote aims to help her house perform its best during sporting competitions.

St Teresa’s School learner and Louders 2026 house captain, Nasha Mabote, is eager to lead while lifting others on and off the field.

Nasha said that becoming a house captain has been a dream of hers since Grade 1.

“Unfortunately, at my previous school, in Grade 7, the Covid-19 pandemic meant that we didn’t have the opportunity to have leadership roles. Coming into high school, I was determined to work hard and prove myself worthy of this position.”

She added that earning the title of being a 2026 house captain has filled her with pride, joy and enthusiasm.

Nasha highlighted that she hoped to create an environment where everyone felt supported, confident and proud to represent their school.

“I aim to be a house captain who leads with kindness, encouragement and dedication. I also hope to help my team not only perform their best but feel their best during war cry practices.”

She concluded that she aspires to bring energy, positivity and leadership that motivates everyone to believe in themselves and in each other.
