Highlands Park Football Club awards its players for a successful 2025 season

During the 2025 season, Highlands Park Football Club won nine leagues and two cups, something they celebrated with a prizegiving on November 2.

Highlands Park Football Club bid farewell to its 2025 season with a friendly match between the coaches and the parents.

They also held a prizegiving ceremony on November 2 in Linksfield. Proud parents, guardians, and spectators filled the football stands to see their children receive prizes and medals for their hard work for this season.

The club’s junior co-ordinator, Debbie IIouze, commended Highlands Park’s good season. “Highlands Park Football Club won nine leagues and two cups. The U13s were unbeaten, wining the cup and their league games.”

The prizegiving was a chance for the club to thank the coaches, parents, and players for their dedication.

Ilouze added that the football club not only grew, but saw more girls join the sport, concluding that the sport was a way to uplift the community, and the children who play it.

“This sport gives children something to do, while keeping them safe and developing them.”

Highlands Park Football Club is made up of players from diverse backgrounds, from places such as Hillbrow, Berea, and Boksburg.
