UJW chairperson Ingrid Koor explained that the appreciation event began in 2014. “This is an opportunity to thank the ladies and gentlemen that work in our houses, because we don’t thank them as often as we should for looking after our children and taking care of our homes.”

She added that the event has progressed, becoming more fun by incorporating fun and educational activities.
